Live cohorts · coached, on your own work

The training ends.
The habit doesn't.

Most AI training is forgotten within a week. In a Velocity Forum Cohort you build AI skills from your own role, run them on real work the same week, and tell your peers what you shipped. Every hour you get back is counted as Value Impact.

  • 4 h + 2 weeksUPSKILL: a live session, then reinforcement in Velocity
  • 4, 6 or 10weeks of ACCELERATE or OUTPACE, the Forum Cohorts
  • Up to 12people in each Forum Cohort, so everyone reports
  • Receiptstime saved is recorded each time a skill runs on real work

What people still use, weeks after the first session

After a one-off workshop, use falls away within days. In a Velocity Forum Cohort every live session and every skill used on real work lifts it back up, and each dip is shallower than the last. After the Evaluate Ceremony, the habit holds.

Illustrative, not measured data. Each dot is a touchpoint: a live session or a skill used on real work.

Why a cohort, not a course

Most AI programs fail on the Monday after the training.

People learn about AI, go back to a full inbox, and nothing changes. A Forum Cohort is built to beat the three things that stop adoption.

The attention problem

~10 min

Attention fades after about ten minutes of passive listening. Webinars and all-hands AI briefings are built to be ignored.

What a Forum Cohort doesNobody sits through a lecture. Live sessions are short and built around members reporting their own work. The rest of the week is spent doing the work with Anita, your AI guide.

The retention problem

~90%

Most of what people learn is gone within a week unless they use it. That is Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve.

What a Forum Cohort doesEach skill is used on real work the same week, then refined, and the live sessions come back on a fixed rhythm. Use beats memory.

Sources: Ebbinghaus; Untangling AI, Ch. 2

The implementation problem

~95%

Around 95% of enterprise AI projects fail to deliver. Knowledge without follow-through, accountability or measurement changes nothing.

What a Forum Cohort doesEvery skill lands on your Skill Board, runs on real work and writes a Value Impact receipt. Your peers see the result at every Accountability session.

Real work, not examples

Every skill comes from your own position description and runs on your own tasks.

A rhythm you can't drift out of

Kick-off, then Accountability every week or every second week, then the Evaluate Ceremony. The next session is always close.

Peers in the room

You say what you shipped and what it was worth, in front of people doing the same. That does what no completion email can.

Receipts, not attendance

Progress is measured in time saved, not videos watched. A receipt is written only when a skill runs on real work.

The ideas behind itFrom Untangling AI by Matt Kesby (Wiley, 2026)

Makers, Watchers, Blamers

Every organization has all three. A Forum Cohort turns Watchers into Makers, one shipped skill at a time.

The Buy Back Loop

Find the tasks that drain your time, hand them to AI first, then spend the time on work only a person can do.

Value Impact

Time saved, times what that time costs, times how often the task happens. It is how you prove a skill paid off.

How it works

Three live sessions you show up for. Skill days in between.

This is how ACCELERATE and OUTPACE run. Your Certified AiCoach leads the live sessions on Google Meet or your company's own platform. Between them, you work your skill days in Velocity with Anita.

Live · 90 min

Kick-off

Build your position description in My Position: your purpose, tasks, KPIs and goals. Velocity proposes skills from your tasks and you save the order you want them in.

You leave with a skill ready for your first skill day.

In Velocity · most days

Skill days

Each day opens with a short mini-deck. Then you practise the day's skill, run it on real work and refine it from what the run showed. From week 5, Discover and Generate days turn tasks Velocity spots in your work into new skills.

Live · 45 min

Accountability

Every week or every second week, depending on your pace. Everyone reports to the group and the scoreboard goes up on screen.

"What did you ship?" and "What was it worth?"

Live · 50 min

Evaluate Ceremony

Present your Evaluate Report: the skills you built, the value you banked and what you want AI to help with next. Certificates are awarded and your report becomes a shareable record.

Where your skills come from

Nothing generic. Every skill starts with your job.

You don't work through exercises written for someone else. Every skill day uses a skill built from your own position description, in the order you chose. That is what makes the time saved real.

  1. My PositionYour role, tasks, KPIs and goals, built in the Kick-off.
  2. Skills proposedVelocity drafts skills from your tasks. Keep, refine or discard each one.
  3. Rollout orderOrder them by value, by time saved, by goal, or by hand.
  4. Your programEach skill day takes the next skill in your order.
  5. ReceiptsThe day is done when your Skill Board records the practice, the real run and the refinement.

Practice counts for progress, not value. A practice run moves you forward. Only real runs on real work add Value Impact.

New skills join your queue. A skill found on a Discover day or built on a Generate day comes up from the next week.

Completion is never ticked by hand. It is read from what you actually did on your Skill Board.

What it could be worth

What a Forum Cohort could be worth, in your currency.

Value Impact is the time you save, priced at what that time costs. Set your currency and the cost of an hour where you work to see a forecast.

Every number in this section is a forecast, not a result. The time only comes back if people run their skills on real work, week after week. The forecast is based on office workers. What actually happens is recorded as Value Impact receipts, one for each real run.

Picked from your location. Changing currency starts the hourly rate at that market's usual cost of an hour.

$11$180

The loaded cost of an hour of an office worker's time: pay plus benefits and overhead. Starts at $45, a median office worker in the USA.

Forecast hours back per member, per week: ACCELERATE

Every skill the cohort delivers counts, about an hour a week each, so the saving builds while it runs. After it ends, the self-paced journey adds one skill a week until members reach 16 h, then it holds.

Forecast Value Impact at $45 an hour. A forecast, not a result: it depends on people running their skills on real work. Select a row to feature it above.

A forecast, not a promise. It assumes office workers who run their skills on real work every week; if a skill isn't used, its time doesn't come back. Real Value Impact is written only by receipts, one for each real run on real work, and practice runs never count. How it counts: ACCELERATE members work through two skills a week and OUTPACE members four, and every one counts while the cohort runs. After it ends, the self-paced journey adds one skill a week until a member reaches 16 h a week, and the forecast holds there. It covers ACCELERATE and OUTPACE; UPSKILL is the introduction, so it isn't forecast here. It does not include the cost of AI licenses, which are not included in any cohort.

What you walk away with

Skills that save you time, and the proof that they did.

Skills on your Skill Board

Built from your own role and running on your real work, ready to launch whenever the task comes round.

Time back, with receipts

Every real run writes a Value Impact receipt. Your report fills in from them, so nobody can round up.

An Evaluate Report and a certificate

A shareable record of the skills you built, how you refined them and what they were worth.

A plan for next quarter

Key Results and X-Factors you track every day, and a queue of the next skills to build.

After the cohort

Keep going on a self-paced journey from the same skill queue, with a Friday check-in with Anita.

Every quarter

Review your goals, set new ones and roll out the next skills, so the program never goes stale.

Your hours, your story

Put the time back into the judgement and relationship work only a person can do.

ACCELERATE and OUTPACE · private only

Your team, your work, your data.

Forum Cohorts run privately for one company, in 4, 6 and 10-week formats. They are never listed publicly.

  • Up to 12 people per cohort; larger teams run several
  • Every member's skills come from their own role
  • Managers see their team's Key Results
  • Value Impact reported for the whole team
  • AI licenses not included (see below)

What you'll need

An AI license for every member. It isn't included.

  • Every member, every program: an AI license, Claude CoWork Team or higher, or ChatGPT Business or Enterprise. Bought separately; not included in the price of any cohort.
  • UPSKILL: a 1-month Velocity subscription for the 2 weeks of reinforcement. It's bought separately, so if you already have one, you're set.

Velocity's programs and forecasts are built for office workers doing desk-based work.

Upcoming UPSKILL cohorts.

UPSKILL is a 4-hour live session with a Certified AiCoach, then 2 weeks of reinforcement in Velocity. Not included in the seat price: a 1-month Velocity subscription, if you don't already have one, and your own AI license (Claude CoWork Team or higher, or ChatGPT Business or Enterprise).

No upcoming cohorts are scheduled right now. New cohorts open regularly.

Questions

Before you join.

What is UPSKILL?

The introduction, and the only public program. A 4-hour live session with a Certified AiCoach, then 2 weeks of reinforcement in Velocity so your first skills turn into habits. It requires a 1-month Velocity subscription, bought separately if you don't already have one, and your own AI license. It's the natural first step before a company runs ACCELERATE or OUTPACE, which are private only.

How many people are in a cohort?

An UPSKILL cohort takes up to 90 people. A Forum Cohort (ACCELERATE or OUTPACE) takes up to 12, so everyone gets time to report at every Accountability session; a larger team runs several cohorts side by side.

Do I need my own AI license?

Yes. Every member needs a Claude CoWork Team or higher, or ChatGPT Business or Enterprise license to build and run their skills. Licenses are bought separately and are not included in the price of any cohort.

Are the Value Impact numbers guaranteed?

No. The numbers on this page are forecasts, based on office workers who run their skills on real work every week. What you actually get back depends on doing that. Velocity records the real result as receipts, one for each real run.

What is a Forum Cohort?

A group of people who build AI skills from their own roles, run them on real work between live sessions, and report the results to each other. A Certified AiCoach leads the live sessions; Anita guides you through your skill days in Velocity.

What counts as Value Impact?

Only a real run of one of your skills on real work. Each one writes a receipt with the time saved, priced at your company's hourly rate. Practice runs move you forward but never add value. Some companies show hours instead of money; Velocity calls that Capacity Banked.

Where do the skills come from?

From you. In the Kick-off you build your position description, Velocity proposes skills from your tasks, and you choose the order. From week 5 of the longer programs, Discover and Generate days add new skills found in your real work.

What's the difference between ACCELERATE and OUTPACE?

Pace. ACCELERATE works two skills a week with a huddle every second week. OUTPACE works four full skills a week with a huddle every week. Both come in 4, 6 and 10-week lengths.

What happens when the cohort ends?

Your skills stay on your Skill Board and keep saving time. You can keep going on a self-paced journey from the same skill queue, and every quarter you review your goals and roll out the next skills.

Can we run a cohort just for our company?

Yes. ACCELERATE and OUTPACE run as private cohorts for one company, up to 12 people each, on your own meeting platform if you prefer. Talk to us and we'll match you with a Certified AiCoach.

Stop training. Start implementing.

Start with UPSKILL this month, or bring a Forum Cohort to your team and watch the Value Impact add up.
